- Identify the regulatory training and certification needs for each of the plant's positions in accordance with the applicable regulations set forth in the Quality Manual.
- Manage the Training Coordinators for each CS Value Stream, and provide guidance to design, develop, coordinate and carry out all training programs to ensure standardization and the effectiveness of the process.
- Actively participate during the onboarding process of new employees and provide the regulatory training that must be delivered during the induction process.
- Select the most effective and appropriate training methods or activities for adult learning (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, classroom classes, etc.).
- Use known educational principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques.
- Design, prepare and commission educational aids and materials.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and determine the impact of trainings on employee skills and KPIs.
- Maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
- Ensure that all Training Coordinators per Value Stream receive and document training prior to performing the activities pertaining to their role.
- Organize train-the-trainer sessions for the Training Coordinators and other employees as needed.
- Keep track of documentation for certifications.
- Work together with the quality supervisor and DCC for priority management and documentation support.
Execute other duties and tasks assigned by management.
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration or related career.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Training Systems in the Medical Industry.
Previous formal experience supervising personnel.
Leadership ability to coordinate work with multiple areas.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations including FDA and ISO.
Ability to read and understand highly technical material such as drawings, SOPs and manuals.
Problem solving oriented.
Strong and assertive communication skills including the use of two languages (Spanish and English).
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in effective adult education and training techniques.
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments, focused on meeting objectives.
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
