Manager (Procurement) - 1 Year

Job Scope:

  • Support and provide procurement advisory to buying divisions on their procurements.
  • Provide inputs to procurement submissions including expenditure papers and award recommendation reports and provide professional advice on the preparation of sourcing documentation such as specifications, appropriate procurement strategies, and evaluation criteria to achieve value for money.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities in GeBIZ, including publishing tenders/quotations, awarding contracts, issuing Purchase Orders (PO) and Invoicing Instructions (II), and performing contract variations in the system.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with buying divisions, contribute to the review and improvement of procurement policies and processes
  • Other administrative support that may be required from time to time, such as data analysis, conducting clinics/briefings etc.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in any discipline
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of working experience in procurement, preferably in the public sector
  • Good understanding of Government procurement processes and hands-on experience with GeBIZ transactions
  • Able to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess good analytical, communication, and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with buying divisions.

Working Hours: Office Hours

Contract Period: 1 year

Salary: $4100-$4500/month
