Manager, Proposal Production DTP

Position Summary

This individual is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Medicaid proposal response documentation, coordinating the internal flow and review of all proposal content, and directing formatting and production of the final books and materials. Proposal Production Manager is responsible for formatting and desktop publishing in Microsoft Word, and production / file preparation activities, in support of proposals. You will partner with Proposal Managers, Proposal Directors, Graphic Designers, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and other team members to produce proposal templates, documents, and related material while ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements and corporate branding standards. You will have a high level of proficiency in Word and Adobe Acrobat and will be detailed oriented with an excellent understanding of graphic design principles and page layout. Documents range from a few pages to multi-thousand.


Reviews and documents all production-related requirements within the RFP and serves as the production interface for the entire proposal team

Using advanced MS Word features, creates solicitation-specific templates and formats all response documents

Maintains and customizes proposal production tools and templates

Participates in proposal meetings and conference calls to gather/communicate information concerning document layout and production process

Controls and tracks documents and graphics using correct processes, ensuring version control

Prepares documents/proposals for review/final submission (formatting in MS Word)

Communicates with vendors to secure supplies and assure on-time completion of document reproduction

Attends and assists during white glove reviews

Prepares the proposal for book check and assists with the process

Packages the proposal for shipment, and tracks delivery if sent by carrier

May be required to take on additional responsibilities for smaller proposals or presentations (e.g., gather baseline documents, complete forms, etc.)

Ability to travel 35% or more of the time

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of proposal production and desktop publishing experience.
  • Experience in understanding Request for Proposals (RFP) and other procurement processes that are issued by the Government as well as commercial entities, i.e: Task Orders, Orals, Sources Sought, etc.
  • Experience in organizing and tracking multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Expert Microsoft PowerPoint skills Expert Microsoft Outlook user.
  • Expert Adobe Illustrator skills and experience with Adobe CS5 Suite

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
