Full Job Description
We are looking for an accomplished and commercially minded senior Sales & Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Digital Enterprise Solutions business across Europe. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives on building trusted customer relationships, shaping complex digital transformation programmes, and turning market opportunity into long-term business value. In this role, you will help customers modernise their Operational Technology (OT) environments through solutions spanning automation, manufacturing operations, digital integration, and cybersecurity—enabling safer, more efficient, and more sustainable operations.
What You Will Do
• Drive the regional sales agenda for Digital Enterprise Solutions across Europe, shaping strategy and driving sustainable revenue growth working with multiple European business units.
• Build strong, executive-level relationships with customers and partners, becoming a trusted adviser on digital transformation in Operational Technology and the interface with IT.
• Identify and develop high-value opportunities across supply chain, operations, asset management, production, and related solution domains.
• Own complex, consultative sales engagements involving automation, manufacturing operations, IT/OT integration, and OT cybersecurity.
• Grow strategic and global accounts through thoughtful account planning, opportunity shaping, and long-term value creation.
• Work closely with technical, delivery, and governance teams to develop compelling, commercially sound solutions for major programmes.
• Lead negotiations and commercial discussions with confidence, helping structure deals that create value for both customers and the business.
• Champion the launch of new digital offerings, helping bring innovation to market and translate capability into measurable customer outcomes.
• Stay close to market trends, customer priorities, and competitor activity to strengthen positioning and improve win rates.
• Collaborate across international teams to support cross-border opportunities and contribute to the broader success of the business.
What You Will Bring
• Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within industrial digital solutions, automation, manufacturing technology, or Operational Technology environments.
• A strong track record of winning complex, high-value opportunities and growing strategic customer relationships.
• Good understanding of digital transformation in OT environments, including automation, operations, production, and enterprise integration.
• Experience managing major accounts and engaging confidently with senior customer stakeholders up to and including C-Level.
• Commercial strength in structuring and negotiating large, multi-million-dollar deals.
• The ability to work effectively across technical, delivery, commercial, and leadership teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the credibility to operate at executive level.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and work internationally when needed.
What Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience in sectors such as oil and gas, process industries, energy, or Power-to-X.
• Knowledge of ISA-95 aligned automation and manufacturing operations environments would be useful.
• Familiarity with process control automation, batch automation, safety systems, supply chain systems, asset management, and energy management.
• Experience selling OT cybersecurity and IT/OT integration solutions.
• A track record of supporting successful delivery and commercial growth for projects valued above USD 10 million.
• Exposure to launching new digital solutions, products, or commercial tools into the market.
• Knowledge and experience of sustainability topics including renewable energy, H2 ecosystem and battery technology.
