It is looking for an experienced supply chainspecialist from the apparel manufacturing industry to join the team as:

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of a global SupplyChain team that focusses on sourcing and supply chain management of a widerange of products for large scale apparel manufacturing. He/She will focus onNon Raw Materials categories (Trims, Interlining, Packaging, Labels, Spares,Office Consumables, Services etc) for manufacturing plants based in South/SEAsia.

  • Oversee Source‑to‑Contract activities for Non‑Raw Material categories while closely collaborating with SBU Procurement Leads.
  • Conduct comprehensive spend analyses and value‑chain evaluations for assigned categories.
  • Perform market research to identify suitable and reliable new vendors
  • Work with country leads to facilitate effective vendor onboarding.

· Develop and finalize categorysourcing strategies based on analytical insights and alignment with projectteams.

· Implement strategies for Supplier Development through closecollaboration and engagement.

  • Prepare and execute RFPs and RFQs in a transparent, systematic, and compliant manner.
  • Lead vendor negotiations to secure the most competitive commercial terms while minimizing associated risks.
  • Collaborate with research institutes to access procurement intelligence on base‑material price trends and develop hedging strategies to mitigate potential future price increases.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from a reputed university

· A post graduate qualification in management or supply chain would beadvantageous.

· At least 5-7 years of experience in managing sourcing/procurement ofNon-RM categories in large scale apparel manufacturing companies

· Thorough knowledge of strategic sourcing and supply chain structures; regionalcapabilities in relation to Material Sources; Vendor Development and PerformanceParameters

· Strong techno-commercial decision-making skills

· Ideally, strong relationships with major players in the apparel RawMaterial Industry in SE Asia

· Strong negotiating and influencing skills

· Goodcommunication and presentation skills

· Abilityto work both in teams and as an individual contributor/subject matter expert

· Abilityto travel, as required. Cross-cultural sensitivity.
