Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, TA EMEA, located in Aprilia, Italy.

The Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA) EMEA leads and delivers regional talent acquisition strategy and execution across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role partners closely with business leaders and HR to translate workforce plans into effective hiring strategies, build diverse talent pipelines, and ensure a consistent, high‑quality candidate experience. The position plays a critical role in enabling business growth, strengthening organizational capability, and driving hiring excellence across a complex and diverse region within a global MedTech organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead EMEA talent acquisition strategy and delivery, aligning hiring plans with business priorities and workforce strategies.

  • Manage and develop TA team members, fostering strong performance, engagement, and capability growth.

  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to provide consultative guidance on hiring needs, market insights, and talent solutions.

  • Oversee end‑to‑end recruiting activities, including sourcing strategy, assessment, offers, and onboarding coordination.

  • Ensure a consistent, inclusive, and high‑quality candidate experience across all EMEA markets.

  • Monitor recruiting metrics and analytics to improve speed, quality, diversity, and cost of hire.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy standards, and local labor regulations across EMEA.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, technology enablement, and vendor management.

Where required to be managed locally:

  • Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures.

  • Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva.

  • Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Typically 6-8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including people‑management or regional leadership responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated experience leading multi‑country recruiting operations across EMEA.

  • Strong stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.

  • Proven ability to use recruiting data and insights to drive decisions and outcomes.

  • Experience managing recruiting operations, vendors, and external partners.

  • Strong people‑leadership, coaching, and change‑management capabilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience recruiting in a regulated industry such as MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare.

  • Familiarity with EMEA labor markets, hiring practices, and compliance considerations.

  • Experience driving TA transformation, process improvement, or technology implementation.

  • Background working in a global, matrixed organization.

Other:

  • Language: Fluent English required; additional European language(s) preferred.

  • Travel: Up to ~25%, primarily across the EMEA region.

  • Certifications: Talent acquisition or HR certifications preferred but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€56,100.00 - €96,945.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
