Manager - Taxes

The Tax Manager is a tax professional that works on the company’s federal and state compliance for domestic and foreign subsidiaries in an exciting, dynamic and fast-paced industry.

  • Prepare and review U.S. Tax Filings for foreign subsidiaries, including Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 926.
  • Prepare the Company’s Foreign Tax Credit Calculation, including Form 1118.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of quarterly tax provision computations.
  • Review and assist in the preparation of estimated tax payment computations.
  • Assist with tax planning and other tax department projects.
  • Performs other job related duties as requested.

Required:

  • Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Business/Finance with an emphasis in accounting.
  • At least 5 years of public accounting or corporate tax department experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience preparing and/or reviewing Forms 1118, 5471, 8865, 8858 and 926.
  • Demonstrated work paper documentation skills.
  • Excellent technical writing and editing skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with process improvement, proactively streamlining procedures and reporting.
  • Strong technical knowledge related to the preparation and review of US federal and state income tax returns.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong tax research skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to lead and mentor a team.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and tax preparation software.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:

  • International Tax background.
  • Proficient with CorpTax.
  • Experience using Cognos Finance.
  • Hospitality/Gaming experience.
  • CPA certification.
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
