Manager Valuations

We are looking for a Manager having experience to lead the business and with strong technical experience to deliver end to end Valuations projects.

  • Lead and coach team(s) of 8-10 business valuation professionals across single/multiple offices/geos

  • Lead workflow management, staffing, quality review, project timelines and team utilization

  • Ensure high quality timely delivery of projects by self and the team members

  • Provide review support and executing complex valuation projects on an end-to-end basis

  • Guide team on relevant accounting standards as well as issue based / project specific topics

  • Contribute to and execute the growth strategy of the team(s) including markets / products to be addressed, and create skill sets and structures / org. to facilitate the growth and scalability

  • Increase KDNI integration with onshore teams and play active role in business generation from existing and new onshore teams

  • Establish and maintain strong connect with the onshore teams(s) to drive business outcomes for the KDNI team(s)

  • Look after recruitment, learning and development and performance management of the team(s)

  • Lead at least one CF team level task force and contributing to pan-DA initiatives

  • Qualifications: CA / CFA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)

  • Total Experience: The candidate must have 8+ years of working experience in business valuation roles

  • Strong command over advanced valuation techniques for business and intangible valuations. Knowledge of tangible valuations

  • Expertise in all the market offerings: PPA (ASC 805), goodwill and asset impairment analyses (ASC 350/360), valuations of stock options under ASC 718 and IRC §409A and audit reviews

  • Strong experience of working on financial models and reports

  • Strong knowledge of relevant respective local GAAP or IFRS standards

  • Good understanding of the general business, economic environment and strong commercial acumen

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to handle difficult client communication

  • Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management

  • Prior experience in performance management. Strong coaching and mentoring skills

  • Prior experience in project scoping and planning, staffing and leading project teams. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and handle critical situations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task and handle pressure situations

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
