Job Description
Where you’ll fit in & what our team goals are…You will provide Manco Oversight for the delivery of fund administration and other related operational and regulatory services as supplied by the outsourced administrator and internal business areas. Your focus will be on the Oversight of Irish, Dutch and Luxembourg UCITS + liquid and illiquid AIFs (real estate, private equity, infrastructure). Your role will entail building relationships with the suppliers and internal departments and liaising with the suppliers and internal departments to ensure the overall service to Columbia Threadneedle is in Compliance with Regulatory Requirements.
How you'll spend your time...
Utilise oversight tools to monitor adherence to regulatory requirements by:
-Ensuring agreed SLA and contractual deliverables are achieved.
-Monitoring KPI’s and questioning where trigger points have been breached
-Completion of periodic onsite due diligence reviews
Address and resolve issues as raised by the Columbia Threadneedle business and suppliers, effectively escalating issues that cannot be resolved
Support the teams and the Conducting Officer responsible for operations
Support the launch and lifecycle management of Funds, including coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Assist in the preparation of board materials, regulatory filings, and operational reporting
Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends impacting ETFs and UCITS/AIF in general, in Luxembourg and the EU.
Liaise with Columbia Threadneedle control functions (Compliance / Risk / Audit / Legal) on individual issue events or supplier performance issues as required
Develop an open and effective relationship with key Columbia Threadneedle functions including the Front Office, Distribution and Retail Oversight
Ensure timely and accurate reporting delivered to external regulator
Attend and present to relevant committees/meetings (pricing, valuation, etc.)
Support with projects, oversight of other functions and regulatory implementations, as required
The role may require the FA Specialist to focus on specific areas of responsibilities, and these areas of focus may change from time to time.
To be successful in this role you will have...
Strong understanding of Luxembourg and Irish fund structures, regulatory environment and Fund Accounting Operations (CSSF/CBI, UCITS, AIFMD etc.)
Solid experience with Security pricing and NAV pricing.
Proven experience producing board papers and reviewing regulatory reporting
Delivery focussed with attention to detail, being able to deliver excellence in a deadline driven environment and to provide credible challenge
Flexible with the ability to work on a range of items simultaneously, in full autonomy and proactively manage and prioritise a significant and often changing workload
An excellent communicator who can effectively express ideas and requirements both orally and in writing, both formally and informally
An excellent team player with the ability to form strong cross-functional working relationships both within Columbia Threadneedle and the Supplier
Quick learner with the ability to pick up and lead new processes and instruments
Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to identify risk areas
Fluent in English
If you also had this, it would be great...
Prior experience of working within an outsourced environment as part of a client or supplier organisation
Prior experience with liquid and/or illiquid strategies
Understanding of Fund tax requirements

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is €70,000 – €90,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for performance-based variable pay and benefits.
