JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for implementing production schedule and ensuring effective use of manpower and equipment.
  • Responsible to lead a group of operators and line technicians to meet the departmental goal.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills to foster collaboration and clarity across teams.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide subordinates to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Strategically plan and execute initiatives to drive operational success.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Build and nurture high-performing teams through effective team-building strategies.
  • Apply logical thinking and sound decision-making to resolve challenges and drive improvements.
  • Supervise a team of manufacturing specialists in daily operations to meet production targets.
  • Promote and implement a positive work culture, ensuring high standards of housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
  • Address employee grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters through effective counseling and resolution.
  • Conduct prompt investigations into maverick lots, implementing containment actions and coordinating with QA, equipment, and process engineering to minimize impact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process simplification, labor productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality system requirements, including FMEA and control plans.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Identify and address training needs to enhance the competencies of manufacturing specialists.
  • Manage inventory control to align with departmental budgets, investigating discrepancies and implementing preventive measures.
  • Uphold and promote safe work practices throughout the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal standards such as RBA, SOX, and internal controls.
  • Encourage reporting of any violations related to labor, ethics, and environmental health and safety (EHS).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field or candidates with equivalent experience of minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting, documentation, and communication tasks.
  • Demonstrated safety first and quality always mentality.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned area’s overall performance.
