Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our production systems
Essential Functions
Design and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance
Maintain and support both existing and newly implemented systems
Develop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities
Collaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutions
Deliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practices
Troubleshoot if necessary, processes and/or systems
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.
Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Additional Duties
This person has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized. This person is a key contributor to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.
This person will ensure that all production systems meet safety requirements
Assist other areas as requested.
Education/Skill/Experience
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Some college in related field is preferred
Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and production teams
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Programming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus
