Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Laborer:
- Handle carbide components with care
- Sharp-edge removal of parts
- Segment stock with hand saw
- Clean finish ground parts with air nozzle
- Load and push cart to deliver carbide components and supplies to other teams within the building
- Transport buckets of material to various teams using a dolly
- Crush reclaim billets and sift reclaim powder
- Load, operate and unload sandblaster
- Scrape clean and repaint graphite plates
- Assist in shipping with preparing special packaging, packing components, counting and organizing parts and materials
- Follow work instructions, control and safety plans
- Follow directions of Team Leader
- This is primarily a daylight shift position
