Manufacturing Project Coordinator

Pay: Starting at $60,000/year (higher compensation available based on experience)
Position Overview
We are looking for an organized and proactive Manufacturing Project Coordinator to support custom-order and expedited production programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with operations, engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and shipping teams to ensure customer orders move smoothly from order entry through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate custom manufacturing orders from initial entry through shipment and completion
Review customer orders for accuracy, specifications, and configuration requirements
Monitor project milestones, including material availability, production schedules, testing, and shipping timelines
Maintain accurate project and order information within ERP and project tracking systems
Partner with production, supply chain, quality, and logistics teams to keep projects on schedule
Communicate order status updates and schedule changes to internal teams and customers
Identify potential delays and proactively escalate issues to minimize delivery impacts
Assist with shipping coordination, documentation, and customer-specific requirements
Prepare project status reports and performance updates
Support continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling, order management, and workflow efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in project coordination, order management, customer support, inside sales, or manufacturing operations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience using ERP systems and project tracking software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate data
Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow projects through completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing
Familiarity with configure-to-order (CTO) or make-to-order production environments
Knowledge of power distribution equipment or industrial products
Experience coordinating shipments and logistics for manufactured goods
CAPM certification or interest in pursuing a project management credential
