Manufacturing Quality Engineer, iPad

Our quality engineering team enables the mass creation of impossible products as a partner in the development of Apple's renowned designs. - You will involve in new product development, partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate design and processes maturity study, define quality requirement and manufacturing control plan. - Develop measurement technologies and quality system that achieves adventurous specifications at mass production scale. - Evaluate and implement groundbreaking quality inspection tools to evaluate cosmetic and dimensional part characteristics. - Lead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields. - Drive failure analysis and corrective actions multi-functionally with internal and external team members. - Establish audit procedures appropriate to program and supplier to ensure consistency to Apple quality standards. Minimum Qualifications BS degree or equivalent in Engineering or related is required. Fluid communication with English is needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience of developing process quality plan, supplier quality audits, and driving corrective actions and failure analysis efforts. Solid understanding of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations. Clear communication and logical thinking. Experience with CNC, injection molding, stamping, tooling or automotive high volume quality manufacturing engineering. Data analysis skill and acknowledge on Machine Learning. Communication in Mandarin is a plus.
