Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Plastic Materials

Minimum Qualifications BS or above in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field). 5+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality control specifically for resin products. Hands-on experience with plastic manufacturing and molding processes. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, and general manufacturing operations. Experience with the development and evaluation of measurement systems. Advanced failure analysis skills with a proven track record of diagnosing complex material and manufacturing defects to establish root cause. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (such as JMP) to evaluate process capabilities and drive data-backed decision making. Strong understanding of problem-solving methodologies and tools, including Design of Experiments (DOE), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and statistical analytical tools. Experience developing process quality plans, conducting supplier quality audits, and driving corrective actions.
