MARINE TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT

We are seeking an individual with exceptional technical and managerial capabilities for the position of Director of Shore-based Management for Underwater Hull Cleaning Operations and Robotics Technology on Maritime Vessels. As the Technical Director, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the entire underwater robotics technology team, driving technical research and development, and ensuring the monitoring of actual operations. This role demands an in-depth understanding of underwater hull cleaning operations on maritime vessels and robotics technology to ensure our technical solutions meet the highest industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Formulate and execute the underwater robotics technology strategy, ensuring the technical team achieves high standards of innovation and excellence.
  • Research and Development Management:
  • Lead and manage the technical team, propel underwater robotics research and development projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Operation Monitoring and Control:
  • Design and implement control and monitoring systems for underwater robotics to ensure safe, efficient, and precise underwater operations.
  • Industry Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance of underwater robotics technology with relevant industry regulations and standards, maintaining close collaboration with regulatory authorities.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, particularly with maritime vessel operations teams and technical support teams, to ensure coordinated operations and effective problem-solving.
  • Innovation Propulsion:
  • Identify new technological trends and innovative opportunities, driving the company to a leading position in underwater hull cleaning technology.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Ph.D. in relevant engineering, automation, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of underwater robotics technology, with a successful track record in technical leadership or management.
  • Technical Competence:
  • In-depth understanding of underwater robotics, remote sensing technology, autonomous control systems, and the ability to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.
