Maritime Information Officer
Job Summary
To provide security services for all buildings owned/leased or managed by The Maritime Financial Group.
Primary Responsibilities
Primarily, the role of the Maritime Information Officer is the preservation of peace, good order, and the protection of the interests of the company and its Team Members. You are also required to observe, report, and take appropriate action when life or property is threatened.
Additional duties would include:
- Assist clients internal and external with their appointments
- Assist service providers
- Document and immediately report any suspicious acts/behaviours
- Report to the office in the event of an emergency
- Ensuring Clients internal and external take their temperature and sanitize where necessary upon entry of the building (if required).
- At The Maritime Financial Group, sound practices dictate that Information Officers adhere to the following principles regarding:
- Telephone Usage and Etiquette
- Power Outages
- Emergency Procedures
- Fire Emergency
Secondary Responsibilities
Officers are also required to perform/assist with evacuation and emergency procedures.- Perform any other related duties assigned
Qualifications
MS Word & Excel - Proficient Level
Experience
At least one year in safety and security
