With a strong strategic focus on our Private (CCL) and Public Laboratory segments across the Nordics, this role is responsible for shaping and driving clinical demand generation initiatives that support the growth and adoption of IDD testing. The successful candidate will work closely with primary and secondary care stakeholders, laboratories, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers to expand testing utilization, improve patient pathways, and achieve growth and profitability objectives across all markets and product lines.

Working collaboratively with Market Development, Marketing, Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA), and Sales teams, you will ensure best-in-class stakeholder engagement, business development, and commercial execution to achieve strategic goals and deliver measurable business impact.

A Day in the Life:

  • Drive clinical demand and adoption of IDD testing across primary and secondary care settings throughout the Nordics region.
  • Execute strategic market development initiatives to increase testing utilization and improve access to diagnostic solutions.
  • Engage, influence, and build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and laboratory stakeholders.
  • Support Account Managers in developing and implementing collaborative projects and pathway changes that drive commercial growth.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities aligned with business strategy and regional priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Market Development, and MSA teams to deliver aligned commercial execution.
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs through regular stakeholder engagement and participation in key industry meetings.
  • Deliver revenue growth, test volume expansion, and achievement of annual operating plan (AOP) targets.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM records to support effective business planning and execution.

What to expect:

  • Lead country-level market development activities aligned with regional strategy and business objectives.
  • Prioritize and tailor local engagement plans and commercial tactics to drive clinical adoption and customer demand.
  • Influence cross-functional execution and collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Market Development teams.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across healthcare systems, laboratories, and clinical networks.
  • Support execution and reporting of key Nordic IDD collaborative working projects.
  • Travel extensively across the Nordics region to engage customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Operate within agreed budgets while maximizing business impact and resource utilization.
  • Continuously share market insights and opportunities with colleagues and internal stakeholders.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with significant relevant commercial experience may be considered.
  • Additional business, commercial, or leadership certifications are advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience within life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, healthcare, or related scientific industries.
  • Healthcare, patient care, hospital, or laboratory environment experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing strategic accounts.
  • Experience managing sales teams and operating within CE-IVD, IVDR, and MedTech Code environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple business opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Solid commercial business experience within the IVD market or broader healthcare industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to coach, inspire, and influence others.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Advanced consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer-focused solutions and service excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English required; additional regional language skills are highly valued.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70% as required.
