About the Team

You will be part of the Market Development team, working specifically within the Tenders team. We are responsible for building strong relationships with over 400 cities across Europe and the Middle East, securing key city contracts, and positioning Dott as the most responsible micromobility operator.

About the Role

As a Market Development (Tenders) Intern, you will be at the heart of our competitive bid process. This is a global role covering 20 countries with a primary focus on Italy and the UK. You will help develop highly competitive bids and shape Dott’s winning strategies, securing key markets and contributing directly to the company’s strategic growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Bid writing: Draft, review, and refine compelling and high-quality bids tailored to city-specific needs to clearly position Dott as the preferred micromobility partner. Leverage Dott’s existing resources and create new content as needed. Ensure that all responses meet city requirements and align with best practices.

  • Project management: Support Tender manager in managing key work streams, and collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of competitive bids.

  • Pre-tender win campaign: Work with the Market Development team to analyze city needs, identify competitive gaps, and work on action items to secure wins in key markets.

  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal teams (Operations, Product, Commercial, Hardware) and external partners to gather insights and deliver compelling bids.

  • Process improvement and knowledge management: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our bid processes and tools.

About You

  • Education: Enrolled in the final semester of studies in business, political science, or a related field.

  • Experience: Previous internship or project work in mobility, public sector, bid writing or related field is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Persuasive writing skills in both English and Italian: Our bids are directed at city officials and must be engaging, well-written, and provide compelling arguments.

    • Highly detail-oriented and proactive; eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.

    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and meet tight deadlines.

    • Comfortable working with G-Suite tools (Google Slides, Docs).

  • Language: Fluent in English and Italian (other European languages are a plus).
