As a Marketing Leader, Building Automation at Honeywell, will provide strategic leadership to the strategy, marketing efforts across BA AEA region He or She is responsible for developing a robust strategic plan & execution with emphasis on driving channel & customer marketing for all Lines of Businesses in BA AEA and will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing the marketing plan for channel partners and customer programs. The successful candidate will accelerate the vertical & connected strategy in the region and provide priorities for investment to maximize profitable growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the STRAP (Honeywell’s annual strategy planning) process, conduct portfolio analysis & assessment to identify revenue & growth plan by market/ product segments
- Deliver Growth - Enable Annual Operating Plan delivery.
- Customer Focus – Drive customer focus in marketing & commercial.
- Sales Enablement: Provide Support to regional Sales & Customer Marketing team to drive growth; Drive Product knowledge and competence among internal and external teams; Keep the team updated on solution offerings and arm them with differentiators, USPs, comparisons & other sales tools. Continuously update the knowledge portal with relevant information. Actively participate in demand planning
- Market understanding & insights: Develop strong Market network to gather market intelligence and update competition activities. Track market to understand Market Operating price ranges of products and align our pricing with market. Leverage market intelligence to introduce relevant schemes and benefits to drive revenue.
- Customer Marketing: Drive end-to-end customer acquisition from prospecting to deal closure to drive growth commitments. Improve existing channels (marketing, sales, partner) through digital marketing and build new channels (if needed). Drive connectivity between sales, marketing and technology. Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs
- Breakthrough Initiatives: Encourage entrepreneurship among the organization and constantly identify the new business winning opportunities and breakthrough initiatives
- Build a strong team: Recruit top talent, build succession, drive engagement, and promote Honeywell's Foundational Principles, leading to outcomes such as an overall employee engagement
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- 15+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing (preferably complex, long sales cycle with exposure to end-customers & channel); minimum of 3 – 5 years in a marketing management position
- Consulting experience with a Top Consulting Firm combined with a B2B experience preferred
- Track record of meeting / exceeding targets and developing GTM strategies
- Experience in Marketing with channels to end-users and complex buying eco-systems
- Experience in working cross-functionally with product lines, projects, marketing, etc.
- Experience in building technology, HVAC, or related industries is a strong plus; familiarity with Honeywell or competitor portfolios will be a bonus
- Engineering / Business degrees preferred
