Marketing Manager, China

HBX is a global e-commerce platform and retail destination for the world’s most well-known and up-and-coming brands in menswear, womenswear and lifestyle from around the world. Curating a truly global and exciting assortment at the leading edge of culture, HBX focuses on delivering the latest, trend-setting fashion, accessories, shoes, home and lifestyle goods to its customers. With the HBX e-commerce platform shipping to over 80 markets worldwide, it has a retail store in Hong Kong.
HBX is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to help develop the China business for the group. This role requires a detailed understanding of the market and knowledge of how to approach as well as execute objectives. The Marketing Manager will be tasked with growing the e-commerce business through efficient means and help lay the foundation for the company to grow in the Chinese region.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing, content planning, and scheduling on Chinese commerce platforms such as TMall, JD and Poizon.
  • Introduce and execute innovative marketing strategies appropriate for the different platforms.
  • Work closely with the senior teams and content team to ensure content alignment with our global regions.
  • Analyse industry and competitor activities to derive actionable insights for promotional activities and content ideas.
  • Analyse and report on the performance of campaigns/initiatives to strategise for growth and optimisations.
  • Work with content and creative teams to execute campaigns and provide optimisations and suggestions based on data-orientated findings.
  • Manage on-site maintenance.
  • Manage the growth and development of business on Chinese platforms.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years work experience in a Marketing role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
  • Passionate about marketing, familiarisation with the HBX and Hypebeast brands, as well as working in fashion/streetwear culture.
  • Solid understanding of handling SEM campaigns and be able to derive insights from Google Analytics to facilitate tasks.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, proficiency in verbal and written English is a must; Cantonese is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
