Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
Job Description:
COMPANY BACKGROUND
AssetWorks Facilities is an integrated solutions provider focused exclusively on higher education facilities management. For over thirty years, we've partnered with universities to streamline operations through our IWMS platform, helping institutions deliver the outcomes their campuses demand.
Our broader ecosystem includes QWare — a user-friendly CMMS tailored to K–12 schools and smaller organizations — and WebCheckout, a robust asset scheduling and rental platform serving higher education and media-rich institutions. A centralized marketing team supports all three brands, working collaboratively to drive awareness, pipeline, and growth across the portfolio.
OVERVIEW
We're hiring a Marketing Manager to own the campaign strategy and execution layer across our brand portfolio. This is a broad, cross-functional role at the intersection of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery — you'll develop integrated campaign strategies, shape content and messaging direction, and work closely with the team to bring initiatives to life across all three brands.
This role works closely with other functional team members to direct campaign execution, with a natural path toward formal people management as working relationships and team structure mature. We're looking for someone who is ready to lead — not just execute — and who sees team development as a core part of how great marketing gets built.
We're also looking for someone energized by building — campaigns, frameworks, and processes that scale. You're as comfortable developing a campaign strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute it, and you bring genuine curiosity about how emerging tools like AI can make a lean team faster and smarter.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Strategy & Planning
- Develop integrated, multi-channel campaign strategies across AW, WCO, and QWare with a focus on building repeatable campaign programs — scalable frameworks where the structure and cadence are consistent across brands and the messaging and targeting are tailored per audience
- Translate marketing initiatives — including events, webinars, content programs, product launches, email, and demand generation plays — into structured campaign plans with clear audience targeting, channel mix, messaging direction, and success metrics
- Own campaign briefs that give the team clear direction on objectives, audience, and execution priorities
- Identify opportunities to leverage shared plays and infrastructure across the brand portfolio while ensuring campaigns land with consistency and impact per audience
Content & Messaging Strategy
- Own content and messaging strategy across all three brands — ensuring consistent editorial direction, defining audience-specific narratives, and ensuring consistency across channels
- Lead campaign copywriting across formats — including email, landing pages, ads, event materials, and long-form content — with support from the team on content production and execution
- Lead SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy, connecting organic search to campaign goals and pipeline contribution
- Provide clear briefs and strategic direction that enable strong content execution across the team
Playbook & AI Integration
- Build and maintain reusable campaign frameworks, briefs, and playbooks that enable the team to plan and execute with greater speed and consistency
- Actively explore how AI tools and agents can enhance campaign planning, content development, and marketing workflows
- Develop and document AI-assisted processes, contributing to a team culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong writer — clear, audience-specific, and conversion-aware across formats and channels
- Experience building campaign frameworks or playbooks from scratch
- Demonstrated ability to build integrated campaigns that span multiple tactics with measurable outcomes
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and how they connect to content strategy and demand generation
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives across different brands simultaneously
- Comfortable with project management tools; experience with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence) a plus
