Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Masonry Installer to construct durable, code-compliant masonry foundations, pedestals, and anchoring systems for our architectural signage projects. This role is ideal for an experienced craft professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and understands how masonry supports high-impact signage installations. You will work closely with Lead Sign Installers, project teams, and fabrication staff to deliver structurally sound, visually excellent results on monument, pylon, and wall-mounted signage.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and finish high-quality masonry foundations and pedestals for monument and pylon signs, including excavation, forming, rebar, concrete placement, curing, and premium finishing.
- Expertly anchor signage to brick, concrete block, stone, and precast substrates using structural anchors and load-rated fastening systems.
- Perform precision drilling, coring, and masonry cutting while strictly controlling silica dust and protecting existing structures per OSHA standards.
- Collaborate daily with Lead Sign Installers and project teams to align masonry work with schedules and ensure seamless handoff to sign mounting and electrical integration.
- Conduct site evaluations for soil, drainage, and existing conditions; recommend practical solutions and maintain clear documentation and progress photos.
- Champion jobsite safety — follow all OSHA requirements (silica control, fall protection, excavation safety, PPE) and maintain a zero-incident standard.
- Maintain tools and equipment, keep work areas organized, and support junior team members on proper techniques and safety practices when assigned.
