We are looking for a ME Intern (Manufacturing Engineering Intern) to support the implementation and optimization of new product introduction (NPI) processes and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will contribute to product launches, process improvements, and operational performance.

Principais Responsabilidades

• Apoiar a implementação de processos de novos produtos (NPI), participando de testes, try-outs e estudos estatísticos;
• Preparar apresentações técnicas para clientes com informações sobre novos processos e mudanças;
• Avaliar a viabilidade técnica de novos produtos e apoiar na elaboração de cotações;
• Apoiar atividades de PFMEA e garantir alinhamento com requisitos da Garrett;
• Realizar solicitações de compra para despesas da área;
• Apoiar na preparação do portfólio de produtos considerando melhorias planejadas;
• Contribuir para iniciativas de melhoria contínua e performance operacional;
• Garantir conformidade com requisitos de qualidade, segurança, energia e meio ambiente.

Requisitos

• Curso Técnico em Mecânica, Eletrônica ou Automação (em andamento ou concluído)
  ou
• Graduação em andamento em Engenharia Mecânica, Mecatrônica ou de Produção

Competências Desejadas

• Perfil organizado e analítico;
• Proatividade e atitude hands-on;
• Interesse em manufatura e melhoria contínua.

🇺🇸 Job Posting – ME Intern (Manufacturing Engineering Intern)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of NPI processes, participating in tests, try-outs, and statistical studies;
• Prepare technical presentations for customers regarding process changes and new implementations;
• Evaluate technical feasibility of new products and support quotation preparation;
• Support PFMEA activities and ensure alignment with Garrett requirements;
• Submit purchase requests for department expenses;
• Support product portfolio preparation considering planned improvements;
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, energy, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Technical Degree in Mechanics, Electronics, or Automation (in progress or completed)
  or
• Ongoing Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering
