Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechanic / Senior Mechanic to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing construction machinery to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery breakdowns and identify faults promptly to reduce equipment downtime
• Perform servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and engine-related electrical components
• Provide technical support and assistance to service teams and customers to resolve equipment issues
• Conduct preventive maintenance and perform thorough equipment inspections to ensure operational safety
• Maintain accurate and detailed service reports, repair records, and maintenance documentation for compliance
• Ensure all work complies with workplace safety requirements and company standards
• Collaborate with team members and management to complete assigned tasks efficiently

Required competencies and certifications

• ITE Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience servicing construction equipment, generators, air compressors, or heavy machinery
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting for construction machinery
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Manual Driving Licence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in engine overhaul and repair of Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Kubota, and Deutz engines
• Familiarity with Airman and Denyo equipment
• Self-motivated with responsibility and willingness to learn
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work independently and in teams
