Mechanical Debug Engineer

Join our team as a Mechanical Debug Engineer, where you will play a key role in bringing complex automation systems to life. In this hands‑on role, you will assemble, debug, and fine‑tune machine stations, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and project requirements. You will work closely with project and manufacturing teams, support customer installations, and provide technical training, making you an essential contributor throughout the entire machine-building process.

The Mechanical Debug Engineer is responsible for the accurate andtimely assembly of machines in accordance with project budgets, timelines and quality expectations as defined by the Project Manager.

Your Main Tasks

  • Assemble and debug machine stations according to project requirements.
  • Perform pre‑alignment of stations with guidance from the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Run and operate machines during the debug phase under the Manufacturing Manager’s supervision.
  • Follow prioritization instructions as provided by the Project Manager.
  • Provide technical training to customers on:

- Mechanical hardware & pneumatic
- Critical setup and alignment
- Product change‑over
- Preventive maintenance

  • Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
  • Prepare required manufacturing documentation for project deliverables.
  • Meet project budgets and deadlines for pallets and critical stations.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers to streamline tasks and share technical challenges.
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Your Profile

  • Diploma/ITE in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automation or machine-building environments.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and assembly skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to conduct technical training.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work in fast-paced project environments.
  • Familiar with mechanical engineering practices; experience with SolidWorks/Inventor is an advantage.
  • Strong problem‑solving attitude, cooperative mindset, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel or work off‑shifts when necessary.
