We are seeking a <\/span><\/b>Mechanical\nDesign Engineer with 4\-7 years of experience to support our engineering\nteam in <\/b>designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and\nsystems. <\/b>The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience with CAD\ntools, product testing, and an understanding of manufacturing processes,\ncontributing to various stages of product development.<\/b><\/span>

<\/div>Key\nResponsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Design & Engineering<\/span>
<\/li>- Develop 3D models and detailed drawings\n for sheet\-metal products (SolidWorks preferred).<\/span>
<\/li>- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturability)\n and DFA principles for efficient fabrication.<\/span>
<\/li>- Generate accurate DXF files for laser\n cutting and coordinate with the nesting team.<\/span>
<\/li>- Optimize designs for bending, welding, and\n powder coating.<\/span>
<\/li>- Maintain BOMs, revision control, and\n assembly drawings.<\/span>
<\/li>- Production Supervision<\/span>
<\/li>- Oversee fabrication activities including\n cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.<\/span>
<\/li>- Plan and monitor daily production\n schedules and manpower allocation.<\/span>
<\/li>- Conduct in\-process inspections and ensure\n adherence to dimensional tolerances.<\/span>
<\/li>- Work closely with powder coating, QC, and\n assembly teams to maintain flow and quality.<\/span>
<\/li>- Troubleshoot production issues and drive\n continuous improvement.<\/span>
<\/li>- Cross\-Functional Collaboration<\/span>
<\/li>- Work with design, procurement, and quality\n teams to resolve manufacturability issues.<\/span>
<\/li>- Supervise prototype builds and drive\n design validation.<\/span>
<\/li>- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and 5S\n standards in the fabrication area.<\/span>

- Sheet\-Metal Design Expert bend allowances, K\-factor, reliefs,\n weldments, tolerances<\/span>
<\/li>- Fabrication Processes Strong laser cutting, press brake,\n TIG/MIG welding, powder coating<\/span>
<\/li>- CAD Software Proficient in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal module),\n AutoCAD<\/span>
<\/li>- Shop\-Floor Management Capable of managing 515\n operators/fabricators<\/span>
<\/li>- Quality Tools Familiar with gauges, micrometers, and inspection\n jigs<\/span>
<\/li>- Documentation BOMs, process sheets, bend tables, revision\n control<\/span>
<\/li>- Communication \- Able to translate design intent to operators\n clearly<\/span>
<\/li>- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.<\/span>
<\/li>- Experience with enclosures, kiosks, or industrial housings\n preferred.<\/span>
<\/li>- Exposure to IP\-rated (IP65/IP66) or outdoor cabinet design is a\n plus.<\/span>
