Mechanical Engineer (Equipment Installation)

Job Description

  • Interpret contract specifications, standards, and designs for construction
  • Organise and lead meetings for design and construction; monitor and manages budgets; writes reports; and carries out additional administrative duties associated with the projects that are allocated
  • Oversee mechanical scope planning, consulting coordination, and document control, including tracking sample submissions and drawing approval status
  • Coordinate, organise, and prepare method statements, job hazards analysis and other prerequisites documents for mechanical equipment installation at site
  • Oversee mechanical scope such as piping and equipment fabrication and installation, communicate with clients and subcontractors regarding issues, and guarantee the highest levels of workmanship
  • Provide the mechanical designers with technical guidance on requirements
  • Organise and/or participate in subcontractor and consultant meetings


Requirements

  • Min diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Min 3 years of construction experience
  • Proficient in English writing and speaking.
  • Microsoft application (words, excel, ppt etc)
