This position will be working on projects across a range of markets, primarily the Mission Critical sector.%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EThe principal activities of the role will be%5C:%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EUndertaking Mechanical design deliverables such as calculations, reports, design and technical documentations.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EAgree level of service, and project design duties with your Group Leader, for each project, understand relationship with fee.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EAssist Group Leader with monitoring engineering/CAD resource requirement for each project within your control.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3ECarry out engineering concept design to detailed design, involve in tender and contract process, review contractor submission, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3ELiaise with the contractor/PM team to produce coordinated designs that are technically compliant, to a consistent quality and standard. Provide positive contribution to design/project meetings. Maintain regular ‘in house’ design reviews and checks.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EMonitor and control design progress, design variations.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EMonitor contract staff or third-party appointments%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EMaintain excellent client and design team relationships to achieve high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EWhen acting as design team leader, co-ordinate with other project disciplines.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EAssist Group Leader with identifying and implementing your personal training/CPD requirements. Help develop working practices in the Company.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EImplement and manage filing systems and procedures on all projects.%3C/span%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C:black;%22%3EImplement Company Health and Safety.
