Mechanical Engineer – Oil & Gas Italy

Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment for oil and gas operations in Italy, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Optimize mechanical equipment uptime above 95%
• Reduce maintenance costs by 20% annually
• Ensure full HSE compliance across all projects
• Deliver engineering designs on time and budget
• Mentor junior engineers to improve team capability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineering license (PE or equivalent)
• Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
• Knowledge of Italian and EU safety regulations
• 10 years of experience
• CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• FEA and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
• Rotating equipment design and maintenance
• Project management (PMP or equivalent)
