Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our product development team in Vieremä, focusing on cabin design for forest machines.

Your role

In this role, cabin design is at the core of your work. You will develop safe, durable and operator-friendly cabin solutions for modern forest machines.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Design and integration of window glazing, ensuring visibility, safety and reliability in challenging operating conditions

• Design of window wiper systems

• Mechanical integration of HVAC systems into cabin structures

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, testing, and production to ensure that our cabin structures meet both performance and manufacturability requirements.

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering

• Solid background in steel structure design

• Practical engineering mindset and ability to solve real-world challenges

• Good collaboration skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders

• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English

• In addition, the following experience is considered an advantage:

  • Experience or strong interest in cabin design

  • Knowledge of window glazing solutions and their requirements

  • Experience with polycarbonate and other polymers, including window adhesives
