Mechanical Engineer / Senior Engineer
- Working Location: Woodlands North Coast
- Working Days: Monday – Friday
- Working Hours: 9:00am -6:00pm
- Starting Salary: $3,500 to $6,500
Roles & Responsibilities
- Designing, manufacturing, and installing components that fulfil requirements
- Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
- Analysing problems or deficiencies and developing solutions to resolve them
- Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs
- Creating plans and designs using CAD technology
- Evaluates final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
- Estimating budgets and time scopes for each project
- Writing technical documentation for machine operators
- Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations
- Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team
- Liaison with vendors on finalization of modules
- Responsible for mechanical documentation
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics) with at least 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry or with strong equipment-related exposure
- Hands-on experience in CAD, CAM, and Matlab/LabView programs for simulation and data analysis
- Experience in troubleshooting PC-based fully automated equipment in semiconductor or similar industries
- Knowledge in die bonder application and process will be an advantage.
