MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems for heavy equipment and generator sets.

Diagnose and rectify electrical faults involving DC wiring systems, control circuits, sensors, relays, and other electrical components.

Perform servicing and repair of air-conditioning systems in heavy equipment cabins.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to schedule and update maintenance records.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform fault-finding independently to minimize downtime.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.

Assist in equipment installation, modification, testing, and commissioning works.

Maintain maintenance records and report equipment abnormalities.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and 5S housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance of heavy equipment, generator sets, industrial machinery, or related equipment.

Knowledge of DC electrical systems, wiring, control circuits, sensors, relays, and electrical troubleshooting.

Experience in servicing and repairing air-conditioning systems for heavy equipment or industrial vehicles.

Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently.

Able to read electrical drawings and technical manuals.

Proficient in the use of electrical testing instruments and diagnostic tools.

Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.

Positive attitude, responsible, and a good team player.
