Mechanical Service Engineer - Mobile Robotics

About Role
<\/b>As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, servicing, and maintenance of robotic systems and mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot technical issues, support preventive maintenance activities, and ensure maximum machine uptime through efficient field and workshop operations. The role requires hands\-on mechanical expertise, strong problem\-solving skills, and a willingness to travel for customer site installations and service support.<\/span><\/div>
Key Responsibilities <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/b><\/span> Assembly and Service Operations:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Assemble, install, troubleshoot, test, and maintain robotic systems and mechanical equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Perform on\-site servicing and ensure proper functioning of machines.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Diagnose issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime. Process & Documentation:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/li>
Maintain proper service and assembly records.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>
Prepare daily/weekly reports on work progress.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>
Interpret Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical drawings for accurate assembly.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field
<\/span><\/div>
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatics.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>
Experience in robotic systems assembly and servicing is preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>
Additional Advantage: Experience in hydraulic pump systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
