Mechanical Supervisor
Job Descriptions
- Ensure all plant & equipment on site are well maintained as per the individual maintenance schedules.
- Plan, supervise and coordinate mechanical work activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage and lead a team of mechanical fitters, technicians, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
- Attend to repairs or breakdowns promptly and resolve in a safe manner, to ensure downtime and delays to the project are minimized.
- Oversee the installation, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves,
- compressors and piping systems.
- Review and verify technical drawings, specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy during execution. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications and client
- requirements.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, manpower records and inspection checklists.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve
- concerns.
- Liaise with the electricians to resolve issues jointly.
- Co-ordinate and plan for the correct tools to be available required for the task.
- Carry out any ad-hoc duties assigned by the department manager.
Job Requirements
- Total Relevant Work Experience: 7 - 8 Years.
- Mechanical Trade certificates or short courses.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related certifications.
- Mechanical understanding relating to infrastructure.
- Good understanding in reading and interpreting shop drawings.
- Can do attitude and able to liaise with the contractors.
- Salary Details: $6500 - $7000 (Based On Experience)
