Job Description\:

As a maintenance technician, you will ensure the safe and reliable operation of all assets and infrastructure across site. This includes Delivering planned maintenance against Reliability Centred Maintenance and Statutory Requirements, supporting Continuous Improvements projects and breakdown repairs.

Core duties\:

  • You will follow Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) guidelines within the Engineering Services department in accordance with Site Policies and Procedures
  • You will provide proactive and technical resource to solve plant, equipment, and control system faults
  • You will ensure the sites mechanical infrastructure, plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard
  • You will interact with the computerised maintenance management system to ensure maintenance work queues are managed effectively and your customer is updated appropriately

Essential Skills\:

  • You will be a Time Served Apprenticeship via an approved body or organisation
  • You will hold ONC and/or HNC (or equivalent qualification) in a mechanical topic
  • You will have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems, including permits and isolation procedures
