Mechanical Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Primary functions are: Inspection, service and maintain all Machineries equipment assigned and to ensure they are in good operational condition
Perform Preventive and Predictive maintenance servicing of all equipment to ensure 100% uptime levels are maintained to update schedule and checklists
Maintain critical machineries equipment and to provide essential spare parts at the required operational set parameters
Attend to machines breakdown immediately and update Maintenance Service Log. Attend while service providers to carry out repair
Assist machines improvement works with mechanical teams
Service and maintenance of all machineries equipment and to ensure all equipment are in good working condition
Data Collection readings and monitoring
Monitor and feedback on cleaning activities to assist Equipment Engineer to maintain overall cleanliness of power plant and proper cleaning schedules are adhered to.
Maintain proper Housekeeping and Safety awareness on all job tasked by Equipment Engineer
Job Requirements:
At least 1 years of working experience in engineering / manufacturing (Mechanical Technician I)
At least 3 years of working experience in engineering / manufacturing (Mechanical Technician II)
Nitec in engineering related discipline
3 to 5 years hands-on experience as a mechanical technician in a high-volume manufacturing plant, with a strong preference for metal printing, coating, or packaging industries
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, bearings, vibration monitoring, and greasing is a plus
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools for daily tasks
Able to read technical drawings and manuals
Must be physically fit to lift heavy parts, stand for long periods, and work comfortably around varying temperatures and industrial chemical odors
Willingness to work rotating shifts or overtime is often required
