Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP)
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist during procedures
  • Collect and document patient information, treatments, and education in the EMR
  • Administer medications and perform routine clinical tasks as directed
  • Coordinate patient care, scheduling, and follow-up services
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and team members
  • Support a team-based environment and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • CCMA Certification required (or equivalent nationally recognized certification)
  • No experience needed, willing to train.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant training from an accredited program preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
