About the RoleAs a Medical Concierge Coordinator, you will play an important role in helping patients navigate their care journey at Roswell Park. From the moment a referral is received, you will help ensure patients have the information, appointments, and support they need to access care quickly and smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, highly organized, and enjoys connecting people with the resources they need. You will work closely with patients, clinical teams, scheduling staff, leadership, and other departments to coordinate care and create a positive experience for every patient and family.
Starting salary: $59,994 annually
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Serve as a central point of contact for patient referrals received through the Concierge Office
Help assess and respond to patient needs, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately
Coordinate appointments and care plans with clinics and the New Patient Scheduling team
Facilitate medical record collection and review to support appointment scheduling
Assist international patients with appointment coordination and communication regarding self-pay processes
Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, leadership, development staff, and other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience
Support patients and families with clear communication throughout the scheduling and referral process
Help remove barriers to care by connecting patients with the right resources and services

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications1. Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in an ambulatory or outpatient clinic, healthcare business office or patient access type of environment; or
2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in an ambulatory or outpatient clinic, healthcare business office or patient access type of environment; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience as a Patient Access Representative at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have experience with record review with triage, patient scheduling, knowledge of Roswell Park Services, customer service experience and excellent time and attendance. Experience with Concierge Medical Services, International patients and patients referred through corporate relationships and sponsorships.
