Make a Difference Every Day!The Medical Social Worker provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive, and developmental disorders. Includes administration and interpretation of psychosocial tests, creation of treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups. Aims to prevent, assess, treat, and resolve psychosocial dysfunction, enhancing overall mental, emotional, and social well-being. Provides clinical supervision in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment provided by the Social Worker, and performs all duties of the Social Worker.

Starting hourly rate is $39.47 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and ExperienceCertification Requirement
New York State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited facility and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in Social Work, bereavement counseling, and/or experience in a comprehensive cancer center or a related field.
NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
