Medical Technologist

Assumes responsibility for the performance of routine, standardized biological and/or biochemical test procedure as well as more complex or developmental procedures on blood, urine, tissues, body fluids and other specimen sources that help physicians in the diagnosis and clinical management of patients.

Assumes responsibility for actively contributing to the section's productive and cost effectiveness. Assumes responsibility for recognizing results or problems that require referral to Section Supervisor, Pathologist or Laboratory Manager.
