Member of Technical Staff, Financial Infrastructure

You will drive the technical direction of infrastructure services, architect and implement secure and scalable backend systems, and own features from design through production. You will write and review designs and code, build and maintain automated tests, perform on-call and incident response, break down large initiatives into deliverables, collaborate with compliance and security, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities

Build secure, scalable infrastructure for digital asset custody, trading, staking, and settlement
Design and implement virtual accounting layers, API integrations, and multi-tenant platform architectures
Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design specs, and mentorship
Foster test automation with emphasis on security and reliability
Lead complex cross-functional projects across custody, trading, compliance, and client integration
Break down large initiatives into well scoped deliverables and estimate multi person multi quarter projects
Own end-to-end lifecycle of platform features including production support and on-call rotation
Collaborate with compliance legal and security teams to meet regulatory requirements
Influence architecture decisions and product roadmap and communicate with external stakeholders

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience building backend services and distributed systems
Experience designing and delivering customer-facing APIs and multi-tenant platform architectures
Experience with cloud-native microservices (experience with GCP preferred)
Track record of building automated tests and maintaining production systems over time
Experience performing on-call support and incident response for production systems
Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms data structures and systems design
Demonstrated focus on code quality infrastructure reliability and security
Ability to prioritize end-user experience and business value
