Member of Technical Staff, Technical Program Management

You will autonomously identify high-leverage engineering problems and own them end-to-end. You will design and deliver multi-quarter programs that span teams, evaluate technical architectures, surface risks, and drive course corrections. You will facilitate prioritization trade-offs, establish repeatable processes, and communicate clearly with engineers and executives to reach decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and own high-leverage engineering problems end-to-end
  • Lead multi-quarter programs spanning multiple teams and functions
  • Evaluate technical architectures and system designs and identify risks
  • Facilitate prioritization and technical trade-off decisions
  • Establish and drive adoption of org-wide processes and tooling
  • Anticipate cross-team challenges and influence technical direction
  • Communicate and align stakeholders from engineers to executives
  • Recommend course corrections and decide when to end failing projects

Requirements

  • 5+ years in technical program management with progression leading large ambiguous initiatives
  • Strong software engineering foundation and credibility with senior engineers
  • Proven track record of proactively defining strategy and driving execution
  • Ability to facilitate tough prioritization and technical decisions
  • Experience introducing org-wide processes or changes and driving adoption
  • Experience operating effectively in highly ambiguous environments
