Merchant Sales Officer
Overview
The Merchant Sales Officer drives growth of the Bank’s merchant card services portfolio by prospecting and developing new business, managing and expanding existing merchant relationships, and delivering excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
This role performs merchant visitation, provides customer service, consults with merchants to recommend solutions, presents pricing and proposals, coordinates onboarding, and supports installation and training for credit/debit card processing and POS equipment. The Merchant Sales Officer also partners with branch and bank teams to identify cross-sell opportunities, resolve service issues, and improve merchant retention.

Preferences
- Prior sales experience in Merchant Services or financial services highly preferred.
- Principles of Bankcards, Industry Training on Terminals, and Visa/MasterCard training on products and services preferred.
