Metal Forming Machine Operator

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour (higher compensation may be available based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Forming Machine Operator to support fabrication operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend, shape, and form metal components according to engineering drawings, production requirements, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience working with fabrication machinery, reading blueprints, and performing precise measurements to ensure accurate finished products.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake equipment to produce metal parts according to specifications.
Review blueprints, shop drawings, work instructions, and production documents before beginning work.
Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
Verify dimensions and quality throughout the manufacturing process using precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine inspections of completed parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow company procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
Assist with additional fabrication-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating press brake equipment or similar metal fabrication machinery.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop documentation.
Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform measurements accurately.
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and related inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods during the workday.
Additional Requirements
U.S. Citizenship required.
Successful completion of a background check required.
Successful completion of a drug screening required.
