Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Metal Forming Machine Operator to produce precision metal components using press brake equipment. In this role, you will set up machinery, perform forming operations, and inspect completed parts to ensure they meet engineering drawings and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and is comfortable reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Requirements Before Hire

  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake equipment for a variety of metal fabrication jobs.
  • Form, bend, and shape metal parts according to blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications.
  • Select the correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each production run.
  • Verify dimensions by measuring parts throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Inspect completed components to confirm quality and specification compliance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop documents to determine production requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and standard shop documentation.
  • Basic math skills and experience using precision measuring instruments, including:
    • Calipers
    • Micrometers
    • Tape measures
    • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
    • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods during the workday.
