Job Summary

Operate and maintain CNC Milling/Turning machines to ensure quality production output while adhering to safety and process standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to achieve production targets and meet quality standards
• Prepare materials and tools required for CNC machining tasks accurately and promptly
• Apply knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, machine capabilities, and machining techniques to optimize machining operations
• Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Conduct process measurements to verify product quality and compliance with specifications
• Identify and report machine and process discrepancies promptly to the production leader
• Interpret mechanical drawings and symbols accurately to guide machining processes
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members to support production goals
• Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines under pressure and maintain consistent output
• Follow instructions and perform additional duties assigned by the production supervisor
• Work rotating shifts including night shifts and be available for overtime on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Up to 5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC machining centers
• Relevant working experience accepted in lieu of formal qualifications
