The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an analytical services team supporting investment performance, risk, mandate compliance, and private assets. Provides senior oversight of client service delivery, production processes, stakeholder engagement, and team performance. Partners with divisional, client servicing, consulting, and operations leaders to align service levels with business priorities, client expectations, and strategic objectives.

Major Duties

  • Lead an analytical services team responsible for investment performance, risk, mandate compliance, and private assets, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality delivery of services.
  • Provide senior oversight of core processes, production activity, service delivery standards, and issue escalation across the team’s responsibilities.
  • Develop team goals, organise work, set short-term priorities, monitor progress, and ensure completion of deliverables in line with business objectives and client expectations.
  • Partner with divisional leadership to support business planning, budget input, resource planning, and execution of strategic priorities.
  • Work with client servicing, consulting, and operations managers to understand client requirements, define appropriate service levels, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Act as the senior representative for the analytics team in client reviews, new business pitches, internal forums, and management meetings.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and on-the-job guidance to team members, including performance management, career development, training, staffing input, and support for disciplinary processes where required.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and client-focused team culture that supports employee engagement, teamwork, and effective communication.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Requires strong knowledge of investment products, asset classes, performance and risk analytics, mandate compliance, private assets, and the laws, regulations, and market conditions that affect investment services.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required, including the ability to explain complex investment scenarios and present effectively to senior internal and external stakeholders.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in the finance or investment sector, including people management experience and a proven track record in analytical service delivery, client engagement, senior stakeholder presentation, and team leadership.
  • CFA/CIPM/FRM and CAIA designations will be viewed favorably.
