Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and master the musical style and performance nuances of the designated repertoire.

• Collaborate with the resident music director and operation team in daily rehearsals and performances to ensure the highest quality of production.

• Adapt flexibly to the show director’s requirements.

• Maintain and take care for instruments and props required for performances.

• Maintain professionalism during performances to ensure stage order and safety.

• Deliver consistent and high-quality performances across multiple shows.

• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with fellow performers, musicians, and technical crew.

Job Requirements:

• Candidates with experience in learning and performing Miao singing, the ability to dance Miao ethnic dances, and those with stage or theater performance experience are especially preferred.

• Possesses an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Proficient in Cantonese or Mandarin.

• Possesses the ability to read musical notation (including numbered notation) and demonstrates strong stage performance skills, with a foundational understanding of Miao culture and the capacity for continued cultural learning.
