About the Opportunity
The Analytics Engineer serves as the essential bridge between Data Engineering and the business. This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and optimizing the data layer that enables analysts, data scientists, and business teams to extract insights quickly and reliably. This professional ensures that data is consistent, high-quality, and efficiently modeled within the Data Warehouse.
As such, the Analytics Engineer is responsible for solving business problems by developing a robust data platform, applying best practices in data transformation to create pipelines and data products that generate business value.
Key Responsibilities

- Build and structure scalable data models using Modern Data Stack tools.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.
- Test and document data models and pipelines.
- Build analytical tables within the Data Warehouse.
- Answer business questions through data visualization and basic or advanced statistical analysis.
- Perform ad hoc queries on databases and data warehouses using SQL.
- Apply statistical techniques and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover insights from datasets.
- Build and improve analytical reports and dashboards.
- Design, implement, document, and monitor new business KPIs, coordinating their adoption with business teams.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Track business goals and report progress to stakeholders.
- Propose new dashboards and analyses alongside the data team.
- Coordinate the implementation of data-driven metrics and processes across business areas.
- Maintain production environments and data models in a stable, functional, and up-to-date state.
- Support the training and implementation of data processes within business teams.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between business challenges and technical solutions.
- Work on data migration projects, data platform implementations, and data product development.
- Collaborate with other data professionals to ensure successful project execution and value generation.
- Propose improvements to processes and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with dbt projects, including model optimization, repository organization, advanced features such as Jinja, macros, incremental models, and specialized packages.
- Experience with DataOps and Git.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge (window functions, macros, UDFs, indexing, etc.).
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling methodologies.
- Advanced experience with BI and analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Intermediate knowledge of R/Python or equivalent, focused on data manipulation and visualization.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience developing and implementing KPIs alongside business teams.
- Knowledge of orchestration tools and ELT pipeline development.
- Basic knowledge of UX and information design.
- Understanding of cloud concepts for data platform management and optimization.
- Strong interest in solving business problems through data visualization.
- Intermediate knowledge of at least one business domain (e.g., People Analytics).
- Results-oriented mindset with strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Solid knowledge of AI and its practical applications.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
